📋 About This Mod
Description
Lets liches be affected by food, be affected by potions, and able to be use Restoration spells on themselves.
ESP flagged ESL, so won't contribute to the plugin limit. Requires Undeath - Classical Lichdom, and a save that was never a lich (to be safe).
- As a lich, you can now use food, potions, and restoration.
This plugin is minimally intrusive, with the least record edits reasonable, and it has no ITMs, UDRs, or generally wild edits.
Install & Uninstall
Don't add/remove mid-save unless you were NEVER a lich
If you don't use a new save, or one that isn't a lich yet, then the change may or may not work correctly. It's a precaution.
Installs like any other mod. Use the mod manager of your choice or put it in the data folder, then activate the plugin. Load beneath it's dependencies.
Uninstalling is simple, too. Delete in your mod manager or from the load order. New game recommended, for aforementioned reasons.
Compatibility
Incompatible with UCL's Hardcore Mode plugin.
Incompatible with other mods that edit the same lich perk.
Incompatible with people who want liches to be fair and balanced.
Compatible with anything else not touching lichdom stuff.
This is ONLY compatible with the CLASSICAL Lichdom lich mod.
This mod DOES NOT and will NEVER be made to work with Immersive Lichdom by me.
The two are ENTIRELY different mods, and mods made for the other will NOT be cross-compatible.
(Excessive USE of CAPITAL letters were USED for CLARITY.)
Using this with Immersive Lichdom will break your game. A version for it won't be made by me.
I also just don't like Immersive Lichdom.
This small gameplay patch for Undeath - Classical Lichdom lets liches use food, potions, and Restoration spells on themselves. It's a minimal, ESL-flagged plugin with no ITMs or UDRs, but it's strictly incompatible with Immersive Lichdom and UCL's Hardcore Mode. For players who want a more convenient lich experience without breaking balance.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Tiny, clean plugin that does exactly what it says—no bloat, no weird edits.
- ESL-flagged so it won't eat your plugin limit, which is always a plus.
- Solid community trust with 166 endorsements and nearly 8k downloads.
⚠️ Cons
- Only works with Undeath - Classical Lichdom, not Immersive Lichdom—using it with the wrong mod will break your game.
- Incompatible with UCL's Hardcore Mode and any mod that edits the same lich perk, so check your load order carefully.
- Author recommends a fresh save or one that's never been a lich, which is a hassle if you're mid-playthrough.
For Skyrim players who use Undeath - Classical Lichdom and want the convenience of eating, drinking potions, and healing yourself as a lich. If you're using Immersive Lichdom or want a hardcore lich experience, skip this—it's not for you.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you load this mod after Undeath - Classical Lichdom in your load order, and never use it with Immersive Lichdom—it will break your game.
- If you're already a lich in your current save, the mod might not work correctly; start a new game or use a save before you became a lich.
- Since it's ESL-flagged, you can safely add it to an existing load order without worrying about the 255 plugin limit, but still follow the save advice.
