Tuna are sleek and streamlined saltwater fish, adapted for speed. The most well-known in Skyrim are Bluefin, Silverfin, and Yellowfin Tuna.

They weigh as much as large boars. They're warm-blooded which allows them to survive in the frigid waters of Skyrim. And they reproduce relatively fast for fish. They are prized for their meat, and because of their traits they're one of the most sought out fish by fishermen, They're known as the livestock of the sea.

Despite this, Their numbers remain stable as they're one of the most difficult fish due to their speed, strength, and stubbornness. Some have been known to fight for 6+ hours for fishermen to catch a single tuna. Not to mention large predatory sea monsters which may deter some fishermen from going out into the sea to catch them.
