  Mudcrab merchants figure in Dunmer folktales for generations on their homeland, having concretely and demonstrably appeared at the time of the events of TES 3 morrowind, in the form of a typical Mudcrab of that region, and as a contemporary of this last one in the events of TES Legends: Isle of Madness, but in the form of a variant of crab typical from the realm of Sheogorath.
