📋 About This Mod
Here's your options if you want to use EnaiSiaion's Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim AND AndrealphusVIII's Additional Dremora Faces:
Oops! All Daedric:
All armored Apocalypse summons will use vanilla Daedric armor. No clipping issues and was the chosen solution of AndrealphusVIII (author of Additional Dremora Faces and the original patch between his mod and Apocalypse). However, it removes almost all visual distinction between the Apocalypse summons.
Old Outfits:
Every Apocalypse Dremora summon uses their original armors. Each summon is visually distinct, and the armor designs are pretty neat. However, each armor set is made with only 1 gender in mind, so you may notice boxy female and curvy male Dremora. Female Dremora Churls are especially bad with the heads and necks not properly connecting.
I replaced the armor pieces which clip badly with similar vanilla counterparts. Visual cohesion is mostly maintained, but it isn't perfect. The Dremora Assassin especially looks a bit odd.
If using SPID, I've added another version which will assign the summon their default armor if they are the default gender of the summon. If not, they receive the TG1 set. This is the version I would most recommend.
Just don't use any of the patches!:
Dremora summoned with Apocalypse spells just won't use Additional Dremora Faces. No clipping issues and visual consistency is perfect every time, but you'll see the same Dremora every time you summon them. Also means that if you're using JaySerpa's Dremora Lines Expansion, Apocalypse Dremora won't have access to those new lines.
The real high effort solution is to make alternate gender versions of the original Apocalypse armors, but that is way beyond my skill set.
Up to date as of Apocalypse 10. 1. 3 and Additional Dremora Faces 1. 3. 12
Mysticism:
One Mysticism patch to enjoy since there's no choices needed. If you are also using Zim's Dremora Improvements, use the Zim's patch on the Addtitional Dremora Faces modpage and have that patch overwrite my Mysticism patch here
.
No Mysticism + Zim's dedicated patch is needed.TG1's Additional Dremora Faces Patches integrates the Additional Dremora Faces mod with two popular magic overhauls: Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim and Mysticism - A Magic Overhaul. This patch mod ensures that new Dremora faces are compatible with spells and effects from these mods. With 152 endorsements and nearly 10k downloads, it's a niche but useful compatibility patch for Skyrim modders.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community trust with 152 endorsements and nearly 10k downloads
- Fills a real gap for players using both Dremora face mods and magic overhauls
- Actively maintained, last updated June 2025
⚠️ Cons
- Requires the base Additional Dremora Faces mod and the specific magic mods to work
- Only covers two magic overhauls, so other spell mods may still have conflicts
- Compatibility patches can break if the base mods update, so check versions
For Skyrim players who use Additional Dremora Faces and either Apocalypse or Mysticism. If you're running those mods and want Dremora to look right with new spells, this is a must-have. Skip if you don't use those magic overhauls or don't care about Dremora appearances.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the exact versions of Apocalypse and Mysticism that the patches are built for, or the patches may not work.
- Load these patches after the main mods in your load order to ensure they override correctly.
- If you use a mod manager, let it handle the file placement to avoid overwriting issues.
