Sub-Separator Hierarchy Visualizer (SSHV)

SSHV — Sub-Separator Hierarchy Visualizer is a visual hierarchy companion for Sub-Separator in Mod Organizer 2.

SSHV does not replace Sub-Separator. Sub-Separator continues to own the real hierarchy, expand/collapse behavior and drag & drop. SSHV focuses on how that hierarchy is presented: clearer tree structure, better separator readability, configurable counts, safer checkbox placement, responsive main separators, diagnostics, guided setup and international localization.

The plugin is intentionally non-destructive. It does not reorder, rename, reparent, enable/disable or relocate your mods or separators.

  Important: SSHV is a Mod Organizer 2 UI plugin and is game-independent. The MO2 2. 5. 2 requirement is inherited from the current Sub-Separator release.

    []Extract the included SSHV Python plugin file.[/]

    []Copy it directly into:

    ...\Mod Organizer 2\plugins\[/]

    []Make sure the Python file is directly inside the

    pluginsfolder and not inside another subfolder.[/]

    []Restart Mod Organizer 2 completely.[/]

    []Open Tools → SSHV → Settings.[/]

    On first run, SSHV can show a guided introduction. If Sub-Separator is not detected, SSHV remains in visual Safe Mode instead of attempting to take over hierarchy behavior.

    Updating

    • []Close Mod Organizer 2.[/]

      []Replace the existing SSHV Python file in

      ...\Mod Organizer 2\plugins\with the newer one.[/]

      []Restart MO2.[/]

      Your SSHV settings are stored separately in the plugin data directory and are not normally lost when replacing the plugin file.

      Uninstallation

      Close MO2 and remove the SSHV Python plugin file from:

      ...\Mod Organizer 2\plugins\

      SSHV does not alter game files or rewrite your Sub-Separator hierarchy. Removing SSHV only removes its visual layer and settings UI.

          The search field at the top of Settings can jump directly to many individual controls and automatically opens the relevant page/section.

          SSHV turns Sub-Separator nesting into a clearer visual tree inside MO2's Mod Name column.
