📋 About This Mod
This mod is extremely simple. It's an SKSE plugin that causes it that if you have multiple enemies targeting you, all but one have their movement speed halved. This makes it so you can focus on one enemy at a time provided you are moving out of the way. It was made almost exclusively for my other mod Skyrim Directional Combat
The main reason you might use this mod over Wait your turn is because it always chooses the closest enemy to attack, which might be smoother for you. It also works for every enemy in the game
You can adjust the movement speed in the config.
Stop Being Outnumbered is a combat mod that reduces the likelihood of enemies surrounding you in melee range, making fights more manageable. With 146 endorsements and nearly 6,000 downloads, it's a niche but popular tweak for players who find crowd control frustrating.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 146 endorsements and nearly 6,000 downloads.
- Directly addresses a common frustration in melee combat.
- Lightweight tweak that likely doesn't overhaul other systems.
⚠️ Cons
- No detailed description, so exact mechanics are unclear.
- May not work with other combat mods that alter enemy AI.
- Limited to melee range; doesn't affect ranged or magic combat.
For players who hate getting swarmed by enemies in melee and want a simple fix. If you're running a heavy combat overhaul, check compatibility first. Skip if you prefer vanilla combat or want more complex AI changes.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you're using a mod manager, install via that for easy removal.
- Test in a crowded melee fight to see if the effect feels right.
- Pair with other combat tweaks carefully to avoid AI conflicts.
