Statue Of Mara - Mesh Replacer Only

I absolutely adore the statue replacers made by the very talented Mandragorasprouts, but being a VR player limits the amount of plugins I can afford in my mod list (ESL flags do not work in VR). So I decided to create this simple mesh replacer using the fantastic Statue Of Mara and upload it here for anyone else who has the same problem.

Please keep in mind that this replacer version will change all the statues of Mara found in the game to the Mandragorasprouts version, not only the one in the Temple of Mara, as in the original mod.

Even though Mandragorasprouts is kind enough to author their mods with open permissions I feel they deserve full credit for their amazing work, and in my opinion, this includes downloading and indorsing the original mod. For this reason I do not include the textures in my files, you will need to download and install the original mod for this replacer to work. Simply disable the plugin that comes with the original mod BEFORE starting up your game.

Compatibility:

This mod replaces only the vanilla mesh file, no plugin/ESP included, this makes it compatible with anything that makes use of the vanilla statue of Mara mesh, like lighting mods such as Lux and ELFX as well as interior overhauls such as JK's Temple of Mara, even new world spaces such as Alternate Start without requiring any patches. All screenshots were taken with Alternate Start, Lux and JK's Temple of Mara active.

I believe this replacer can even be used along side the original mod and any of Xtudo's patches without conflict, but I have not tested this myself.

Installation:

• []Use your preferred mod manager to install.

  []Install Statue Of Mara.

  []Install Statue Of Mara - Mesh Replacer Only.

  []Overwrite if prompted / give my mod priority.

• Disable the original Statue Of Mara ESP: man_maraStatue.esp - NOTE: Do NOT disable this plugin mid-save. It is not good practice to remove active plugins from your current save files, this could result in various problems. I recommend using this replacer only if you do not currently have a save with the original plugin active or on a new game.
