📋 About This Mod
DESCRIPTION
Over the years, I noticed that some of Oldrim vanilla-based resources, including my own, were aging badly in modded games, because they're static assets based on pure vanilla items.
So I started remaking these assets used in popular mods to easily replace them. Some were pretty simple, while others I've had to remake entirely by hand. This includes my updated resources (vanilla and The Witcher), as well as assets from other sources based on vanilla meshes (Jokerine, Lolicept, aars...).
-
[]Higher-poly vanilla statics – Enhanced and optimized (based on SMIM and other high-quality, vanilla-like meshes).
[
]The Witcher assets – Replaced with cleaned, optimized versions (from Modder’s Resource Pack – The Witcher).[]Optimized collisions – Simplified collision blocks for better performance, especially in dense interiors.
[]Fewer shapes – Merged shapes (sub-meshes) to reduce draw calls and improve performance.
[]Technical improvements – Fixed tangent spaces, specular, collision materials, removed unused properties/strings, etc.
[]Proper SSE port – All assets correctly processed via SSE Optimizer (some were never converted before) and all textures converted in BC7 with mipmaps.
No more vanilla tomatoes standing out among your SMIM beauties, no more messed-up UV maps for a sweetroll on a plate, no more FPS drops caused by overly detailed collision blocks!
I worked from the meshes folder of several mods that are listed below, but it may cover more, provided the modders have kept the same folder structure. I'll keep checking new mods for future updates. Feel free to suggest more mods or models to check ^^

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 173 endorsements and over 13k downloads.
- Performance-focused: optimized collisions and merged shapes reduce draw calls.
- Fixes visual inconsistencies like vanilla tomatoes sticking out among SMIM beauties.
- Properly ported to SSE with BC7 textures and mipmaps.
⚠️ Cons
- Only covers specific mods; if your mod isn't listed, you may not benefit.
- Requires you to use one of the covered mods to see any effect.
- Compatibility risk with other mods that alter the same statics or use different folder structures.
For Skyrim modders and players who use popular mods with vanilla-based statics and want them to match SMIM quality. Also for performance-conscious users who want optimized collisions and fewer draw calls. Skip if you don't use any covered mods or prefer to keep vanilla look.
💡 Beginner Tips
