Staff of Meridia

Description

This mod adds two Staves to the game as a reward for completing Meridia's quest in Kilkreath Temple.

Cleansing Staff of Meridia :

The Cleansing Staff of Meridia is a powerful weapon to use against the undead. The staff fires sun projectiles that deal increased damage against undead creatures. As an added bonus, the staff carries "Meridia's Retribution", the same effect used by Dawnbreaker which creates a "turn undead" explosion upon killing an undead creature with it.

The Staff can be obtained by looting Malkoran's corpse at the end of Kilkreath Temple.

Corrupted Staff of Meridia :

The Corrupted version of the Staff allows the player to channel the most powerful version of Vampiric Drain at no mana cost. The drain should be enhanced by the "Blood of the Ancients" buff which would make the staff a very powerful item in the hands of Vampire character.

The Corrupted version can be forged using the original Staff of Meridia (the player cannot possess both staves) all the explanations on how to do that being available in game to those who can read.

Prerequisite

This mod does not require any external mods.

Installation

- Use your favorite mod manager and load this mod after the original one

- Or drop the content of the archive into your "Skyrim Special Edition\Data" folder

Acknowledgements

The idea for the mod came from slowslow and the model for the staff although based entirely on Dawnbreaker's assets was inspired by the VIGILANT SE mod.
