📋 About This Mod

Allows you to make a patch to help make your entire modlist compatible with SR Exterior Cities by 1990SRider.

Allows you to make a patch to make your entire modlist compatible with SR Exterior Cities by 1990SRider.

Being a Synthesis patcher:

- it's compatible with all versions of the game

- it creates a single unified patch on your list, taking into account all the overrides

- it isn't limited to 255 plugins like zEdit etc. (though no single ESP can have more 255 different masters!)

- it can replace all patches that do not touch navmeshes

What it does is simple: it patches your modlist for SR Exterior Cities, moving all items from the interior city worldspace to the right location within the Tamriel worldspace, in accordance with the main mod.

- First set up Synthesis (install instructions)

- Run Synthesis (through your mod manager if using MO2)

- Open the zip file, and double click on the .synth file  (more information here)

- The patcher should be automatically imported to Synthesis

Or just find the "SRExteriorCitiesPatcher" in the synthesis repository. Either or! But please download the file and endorse if you like the mod!

- Recommended: Create a new group just for this patcher.

- Check the settings

- Run the group in Synthesis

Any mod without navmesh can be patched without any additional step. Just run the patcher with the default settings.

IF a mod makes Navmesh edits to the interior city worldspace, it needs a patch made in the Creation Kit. Either use one that is already made, or make one (see Using Synthesis to create patches article).

Patcher Settings:

-Enable Navmesh modification: Tick it to make navmeshes edits. Recommended for patch makers only, will need a run in the Creation Kit.

-Copy Navmeshes: Tick it to make copies rather than move navmeshes. False is unsupported/WIP, will cause CK to crash on save!

-Ignore Occlusion: don't move any occlusion panes, which is recommended to leave ticked to avoid conflicts of occlusion (those can cause CTD).

-debug: Leave it off, it's just for me to display some additional information.

Currently, any mod with navmesh edits in the city worldspaces will still need some work in the Creation Kit. This is sadly unavoidable, as there is currently no way to generate the Navigation Info Map (or NAVI) outside of the Creation Kit. The Creation Kit will automatically generate that Navigation Info Map (or NAVI) upon saving, and there is no other way to modify or alter it (any slight modification to it causes a hard crash).
