Sonia Armor for Males and Beast Races

If you've seen any of my previous outfit patches, you know what I'm going to say already: I like when things match. I like when what I see in my inventory (or the chest I'm rummaging through, or the corpse I'm looting, etc) looks at least close to the end result of what's going to show up on my character or follower when I equip it. To that end, I've taken the Sonia Armor SSE created by Gimora and fiddled with the meshes to make a male version of the armor, helmets that fit Argonians and Khajiit, and proper inventory models so you can see what you're about to wear. I also edited the cuirass texture slightly to make the bosom-underline less pronounced on the male armor (for comparison: Lucien is wearing the new version in the first three pictures above, while most of the other screenshots are from before I made the new texture).

You will need the original Sonia Armor SSE installed for this patch to work. The patch has been ESL-flagged so only the original mod requires a plugin slot (btw it's easy enough to merge the patch's assets into the mod and compact the form IDs in CK or SSEEdit; unfortunately you cannot use this patch on a compacted version of the main mod because the form IDs will not match, so if you do want to compact the original file you'll need to drag the new assets into it first. If you're planning on doing that I recommend downloading the loose files version so you don't need to rename or unpack the bsa!).

*Note: I made the patch for the light armor version because it's the much more popular variety...and because it looks like light armor, to me. But if there's demand, it wouldn't be hard for me to make and upload a heavy armor version too, so let me know!

There is also a loose files version of the patch that you can download manually that contains nothing but the meshes! You will need to use the Creation Kit or SSEEdit to attach those meshes to the original mod (or wherever else you want to put them).

YES the armor looks "girly" that's part of its charm. If you don't want it, don't download it.

LEGENDARY EDITION?

If anyone would like to port this patch to work in LE, feel free as long as you give credit to both Gimora and myself. I have uploaded a file with the nifs already optimized for Skyrim LE both under the Optional Files here and on its own LE page, but I cannot create a proper patch because I do not currently own a copy of the game. You can attach those nifs to the original Berserk Sonia Armor mod in CK or xEdit for yourself until someone uploads a patch, although since LE doesn't use ESL-flagging you might be better off adding the meshes to the mod directly anyway rather than use up two plugin slots!
