📋 About This Mod
What's New?
⋆ Blisterwort => King Bolete
⋆ Fly Amanita
⋆ Glowing Mushroom
⋆ Imp Stool => Puffball (could also be an earthball)
⋆ Namira's Rot => Jack o' Lantern (possibly a brown rim-roll or dryad's saddle)
⋆ White Cap => White Button
I was working on the Bleeding Crown but lost a lot of files when migrating my drive and reinstalling my OS. Will still be a little while before I can update.
Q&A
Q: I have a question.
A: Read the description thoroughly before posting a comment. I am happy to help you with anything not mentioned here.
Q: What about Bleeding Crown mushrooms?
A: Nothing really fit what I wanted. Might add it in the future.
Q: Why is there an optional glowing Namira's Rot?
A: Because Jack o' Lantern mushrooms have a faint green bioluminescence.
Q: That isn't a Jack o' Lantern mushroom.
A: I just guessed.
Q: Just how high poly? Will this impact performance?
A: Really depends on your rig. Namira's Rot meshes have the highest number of vertices, but all of them are comparable to other high poly mushroom mods I've seen. The smallest of these has 942 vertices (972 triangles) and the highest has 6712 vertices (10944 triangles). The vanilla meshes are 426 to 1492 triangles (487-1966 vertices). The "half size" files are 942 vertices (972 triangles) to 4631 vertices (6930 triangles).
Q: Does this do anything else?
Q: Can I add this to an existing game? Can I remove it from an existing game?

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- High endorsement-to-download ratio (704 endorsements) shows strong community approval
- Over 232k downloads indicates widespread use and trust
- Lightweight visual upgrade that doesn't affect gameplay
⚠️ Cons
- Limited to mushrooms only—doesn't touch other flora
- High-poly models may impact performance on low-end systems
For Skyrim players who want better-looking mushrooms without overhauling the entire game. If you're a modder or enjoy detailed flora, this is a quick win. Skip if you're looking for broader environmental changes or gameplay tweaks.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Load this mod after other flora overhauls to ensure mushroom models are applied correctly.
- If you use a texture mod, check for conflicts—this mod replaces models, not textures, so they should work together.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 for easy installation and removal.
