Sleep in Bed SKSE

Description

Sleep in Bed is a lightweight, script-free SKSE plugin that overhauls how sleeping in beds works for the player and followers. Activate a bed to lie down, then press the Wait key (or a configurable custom key) to open the sleep menu, or have it open automatically. Followers can also find nearby beds and sleep alongside you.

This plugin changes how beds work for the player:

  Configuration

  Install SKSE Menu Framework for in-game configuration, or edit SleepInBedSKSE.ini to customize the plugin behavior.

  iSleepKey=-1

  Key used to open the sleep menu while in bed.

  -1 uses your normal Wait key.

  bAllowOwnedBeds=0

  Allow using beds owned by NPCs.

  1 = true

  0 = false

  bOpenSleepMenuOnLieDown=0

  Automatically opens the sleep menu after your character lies down.

  Followers find nearby free beds and sleep when the player does.

  bSpouseSharesBed=1

  Allows a following spouse to use the other side of the player's double bed.

  bHomeSpouseSharesBed=1

  Allows a nearby spouse who is not currently following to share the player's double bed.

  bIgnoreOwnership=0

  Allows followers to use beds regardless of ownership.

  fSearchRadius=1024

  Maximum distance in game units used when searching for a free bed.

  bNightOnly=0

  Only sends followers to bed during the configured night hours.

  fNightStart=20

  Hour at which the night period begins.
