3/3/2018 - Hi! I'm not dead. Sorry for a year absence, but postgraduate degrees are hard. However, I'll be off this summer. Consider this an apology, and a promise to update the guide starting probably in May 2018. It needs perhaps 40-200 hours of work on my end, so expect the update in early July, with some work starting in late May. I'll start responding here again around that time. Thank you for all the amazing support, I really appreciate it.

8/27/2018 - Hi. Still not dead. I drastically underestimated how much effort it is going to take to bring this up to speed. Right now, I'm just doing my homework, going through the hundreds of new mods, new ENB's. I've put about 180-190 hours in, and if I'm being totally honest, the guide needs nearly a complete retooling. It's a framework, sure, but now the list goes on and on. Also, it looks like to do everything justice, I need to also create a VR guide. But hey! There's a lot of new guides out there to hold you over, and I would rather do a big update and go forward fresh, than just update a few thing incrementally. So again, my apologies, but I am working away as much as life allows, and you can look forward to things being updated. When, I cannot say. But not forever.

This is a mod order and installation guide for Nexus Mod Manager,  Mod Organizer 2 if you have it working, or manual install for Skyrim SE with what mods we have so far (to my tastes). The downloads section currently includes 1 patch, with more coming in the future.

It stands for S.pecial E.dition P.ossibly T.emporary I.mprovement M.odifications. Why temporary? Because once the 'mod gaps' get filled in, thing like the S. T. E. P. guide will be more viable again, or the amazing lists on the Realvision Page, Skyrim beautification project, Neovalen's page, and so on. But for now, this is getting me by. (If you're new to skyrim modding google all that stuff, they are all amazing resources. I'm sure they are working just as hard as everyone else right now to bring everything up to speed. )

But...why?

Long story. Right as SE was released all the mods were 'new' again, many old skyrim mods were incompatible, and I couldn't use my favorite guides. I wanted to make a pre-built load order. This guide grew out of that. OUR INCREDIBLE MOD AUTHORS ARE FIRING OFF SE MODS FASTER THAN I CAN HARDLY KEEP UP, so this guide may be changing as we go. I will keep updating this daily for content and stability.
