This patch should be used if you ONLY use Survival mode and not any other food overhaul, such as Gourmet, for the latter i recommend this one SkyPatcher - Ronan's Gourmet Patches
Now if you use a food overhaul that relays in Survival Mode keywords, then you can use this patch.
If you already have a survival patch (esp/espfe) for X mod that only adds hunger keywords, the recommendation is to disable it. The idea of using the SkyPatcher is to save from any plugin to improve compatibility.
Installation

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community trust with 273 endorsements and 46k downloads.
- Fills a real gap for survival players using food mods.
- Lightweight patch approach via SkyPatcher, likely no heavy scripts.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires SkyPatcher as a dependency, adding setup complexity.
- Only affects food items from mods that lack hunger effects; may not cover all mods.
- Compatibility risk with other food mods not explicitly supported.
For Skyrim survival mode players who use food mods and want hunger effects to apply consistently. Also for mod authors who want to extend survival compatibility without editing every food item. Skip if you don't play survival mode or use only vanilla food.
