Now we begin to set things right. The new Skyland Markarth offers a complete texture overhaul of high quality textures featuring dark old stone carvings, metalwork, dungeons, and more. Using real world references of Mayan ruins and old nordic carvings, this is the most realistic Markarth texture overhaul.

A lot of people didn't like the old one. In face, pretty much everyone hated the old one. Too white, among other bits of insight. I've removed that page and we begin anew!
Much darker stone that blends with the mountains, higher quality textures and carvings, better metal, and so forth. Please enjoy this new vision of Markarth.
I used the Tikal ruins in Guatemala as a reference because it's old and wild, much like Markarth, the reach, and the foresworn who used to occupy Markarth. I also referenced old exterior nordic carvings to get that worn, rounded look befitting of a city of Markarth's age.
