📋 About This Mod
"OH, NO, NOT THE BEES! NOT THE BEES!" Yes, it's not just Nic Cage who's afraid of bees. It seems that all of Skyrim is too, as no one (excepting Arangoth) owns a beehive. No wonder Maevan wants the Goldenglow Estate so badly. This mod aims to put that right by adding bee skeps (wicker/straw hives) to farms and villages around Skyrim.
I've modelled fifteen different skeps that you'll encounter on your travels. They're based on real-world examples. I hope you dig them. One of the skep boxes was originally made by Jet. A BIG thank you to Jet for making their resources available to modders like myself. Kudos!
I've done my best to try and avoid spots that feature in overhauls, but there may be need of a few patches for JKs and like. Post a comment and let me know and I'll get to patching. You'll also see more bees flying about as I've added bee spawns around the skeps as, well, obviously, there would be bees.
Now the small print... What this mod doesn't do... It doesn't replace the apiaries at the Golden Glow estate. This is because I need to create a burned state skep, and, so far, I've not been happy with how it's come out. I'll aim to replace those eyesores soon.
