Simple Gameplay Tweaks - Shouts and Dual Wield Blocking and More

This mod contains some little gameplay tweaks I personally use. Include shouts, dual wield blocking mechanic and more.

Simple Shouts Tweaks

This is mostly based on Enai Siaion's Thunderchild. While I no longer use the mod in my recent playthrough, I still appreciate its improvement to vanilla shouts. Since most of the modern perk overhaul mods enhance shouts by perks, I don't want the shouts to be overtuned and become too OP.

I took most of the vanilla shouts improvement, fixes and quality of life changes in Thunderchild and edited a bit to fit my preference.

I also make the summoned heroes from Call of Valor stronger by giving them appropriate perks and nord hero weapons.

Simple Dual Wield Blocking

I port the amazing mod Dual wielding - bashing and blocking by Moljka to SSE and make it ESL-flaged. Also included the fix suggested by user Linnsanity in the posts section.

What this mod does is to allows you to block & bash by pressing the right mouse key while dual wielding, just like you are using shields or one-handed weapons. Also allows you to choose what arm your character will use (left/right) by moving while attacking: If you attack AND move to the right (or a combination of right and forward etc.) your character will use its LEFT arm to attack (else it will use its RIGHT arm).

Moljka seems to be inactive now so I share the mod on the SSE page, if he/she is concerned about this I will take this part down.

Please note that this is not compatible with Combat Gameplay Overhaul. It won't crash your game but they will have weird interaction.

*Also I recommend to use with the Dual Wield Parrying animations in Engarde.

Simple Gameplay Tweaks

Some quality of life changes I am personally using.

Ancient Knowledge gained from the Lexicon gives you a 25% bonus to Dwarven Armor and Weapons. Blacksmithing increases 15% faster.

MLU also has this tweaks, but excluding the dwarven crossbow. My mod make the crossbow also benefits from the ability.

Sprinting stamina drains reduced from 7 to 5.

Stamina and magicka regen delay reduced from 0. 5s (or 2. 5s if you are using Wildcat) to 0. 2s.

Included the horse movement speed and handling tweaks from my other mod Diversified Horses.

The Spectral Assassin from the Dark brotherhood quest is now very stealthy.

All of the plugins are ESL flagged. Also included an all-in-one version.

Compatibility

Should be compatible with most mod except some editing the same thing. Choose the priority yourself if conflict happens and either load this mod below or above the conflicting mod.

Simple Dual Wield Blocking is not compatible with Combat Gameplay Overhaul. It won't crash your game
