📋 About This Mod
You should rest and meditate on what you've learned.
Reflection tries to capture the spirit of previous entries of The Elder Scrolls series by displaying level-up messages from previous Elder Scrolls titles.
Reflection adds over 20 level-up messages from Morrowind and Oblivion. I thought that they were very charming and thought-provoking, and it was a shame that they were not present in Skyrim. Well, now they are. You will receive a new level-up message shortly after leveling up and selecting which stat to upgrade. They will start happening once every level, then once every two levels, then once every 3 levels, until you receive the last message at level 50. For some examples of the level-up messages, please see the screenshots.
This mod has no requirements other than Skyrim Special Edition.
Just click "Download with Manager" and activate. Nothing to it.
When I leveled up, I didn't receive a message. You do not have the latest version of Skyrim installed. Or, you are not playing with a legal copy of the game. Or, it might not be a level in which you are supposed to receive a message.
Messages are received at the following levels:
2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38, 41, 44, 47, 50.
Compatible with everything.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 3,550 endorsements and over 278k downloads—clearly a mod people trust.
- Adds a simple nostalgic touch that fits right in for long-time Elder Scrolls fans.
- Tiny mod that won't bloat your load order or cause performance hits.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in 2016—might have compatibility issues with the latest Skyrim versions or mod setups.
- Only does one thing: restores level-up messages. If you're looking for more comprehensive immersion overhauls, this won't cover it.
For Skyrim veterans who miss the classic level-up text from Morrowind or Oblivion and want that nostalgic feel without heavy mods. Also great for immersion-focused players who appreciate small touches. Skip if you want major gameplay changes—this is purely cosmetic.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since this mod is from 2016, check if you're using Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition—you might need the Special Edition version or a compatibility patch.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 to install and manage this mod easily, and to keep track of load order.
- If you're using other UI or immersion mods, test in a new game or after loading a save to ensure the messages appear correctly.
