NOT COMPATIBLE WITH SKYRIM ANNIVERSARY EDITION UPDATE (SSE update 1. 6)

- I did a preliminary look through the new Skyrim AE Texture BSA, Bethesda has reorganized the contents of the BSAs so nothing matches.

- Using this BSA replacer will result in missing/purple textures.

- I have now flagged this mod as a SkyrimVR required mod (since that's the only Skyrim game that uses the older pre-AE version).

Original Description.

BSA Replacer.  Uses "Ordenador - Texture Optimizer" program to limit vanilla SSE textures to 1024 and under.

ONLY changes textures over 1024; does not change textures less than 1024 (these vanilla SSE textures are left untouched).

-- Reduces textures 2048+ --> 1024.

-- DOES NOT alter vanilla textures under 1024

-- DOES NOT add compression to textures ; this mod only reduces the texture size.

-- Image quality should be somewhere between original Skyrim and Skyrim Special Edition

WHY?

-- BSA is easier to manage than Loose Files; BSA also overwritten by Loose Files.  BSA makes it easier to use other texture mods.

Simple BSA replacer I made in a few hours.  I wanted reduced textures since my computer is older and not the best for SSE (gain a few more FPS); but most Texture replacers used "Loose" files.  I thought a BSA replacer would arise, but since I haven't seen one I decided to create a quick and easy reduced textures mod that I use myself.

------> I tried this at first, but my textures came out "shiny"; so I decided to just reduce the texture size and not add further compression.  (if you know why this happened and how to fix I'm interested in knowing).

Mod provided AS IS ; I don't plan on making any updates (unless I do so for personal gain :D , which I will upload here).  I do think someone WILL make a better BSA replacer in the near future (Hopefully).  When that time comes, please use that mod instead.
