✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community favorite with 931 endorsements and over 617k downloads
- Flexible resolution options (4K or 2K) to suit your rig
- Optional 3D handles add extra depth to Upper Chests
⚠️ Cons
- Requires SMIM as a base mod, so you'll need to install that first
- Only covers two chest types—other containers remain untouched
- No screenshots or detailed previews in the description, so you're flying blind until you try it
For Skyrim modders who already use SMIM and want to give chests a visual upgrade without overhauling everything. If you're after a complete texture pack, this is too niche—but if you're a detail-oriented player who notices every surface, it's a solid pick.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure SMIM is installed and loaded before this mod, or the textures won't apply correctly.
- If you're on a lower-end PC, grab the 2K version to save VRAM—4K is for high-end rigs.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to easily switch between the standard and 3D handle versions.
