Quicksilver's Sword Pack - SSE

Hi there, thanks for checking out my mod! As I'm sure you've seen from the quick blurb at the top of the page, this is a fairly straightforward mod that simply adds three new weapons to the game.

The models included in this mod are quite high poly and they have 4k textures so overall the mod may end up being quite high performance, so some of you may face performance issues when using these weapons in game. If you experience frame drops or stuttering while any of the weapons included in this mod are on screen, please let me know and I will see what I can do about it.

Any and all comments are welcome, I would love to hear what you guys think of these swords, good or bad!

On to the relevant information for the mod;

There are three weapons included in this mini pack; A two handed Claymore with a ring pommel, a two handed Executioner's Sword, and a Hand-and-a-Half Sword. Both the Claymore and the Executioner's Sword are classed as two handed swords, and the Hand-and-a-Half Sword is one handed in game.

The weapons added by this mod are balanced to be slightly more powerful than their plain steel vanilla counterparts, while not breaking game balance.

The Claymore swings slightly faster than a regular two handed sword, and does slightly more damage than the vanilla Steel Greatsword.

The Executioner's Sword does more damage again but it swings at the same speed as vanilla two handed swords.

The Hand-and-a-Half Sword again does slightly more damage than it's vanilla counterpart.

To balance the higher damage output of the weapons in this mod, they can only be acquired later in the game once you have the 'Advanced Armors' Perk.

The Claymore's design is an amalgamation of the rugged classic Scottish Claymore design, coupled with a Ring shaped pommel design based on 15th century Irish Swords such as the Gallowglass. I found this imaginary combination to be an interesting mix up to a well known and loved design, while not straying too far from realism.

The Executioner's Sword design is largely based on this design by Renat Urazgildin on ArtStation. I liked a lot of the design queues in his work and I always wanted a cool looking brutalist Executioner's Sword in Skyrim, so I decided to put my own spin on his (much better) design. I won't say that this sword is based on Terminus Est, as I would never claim to be able to create something worthy of that concept, but it was definitely a driving force as to why I've always wanted an Executioner's Sword in this game.

The Hand-and-a-Half sword was borne largely from the fact that there aren't really any in the base game, and they are always a cool design. I'm not really 100% happy with the guard area on this o
