📋 About This Mod

SKSE plugin to dynamically remove worn gear upon death from enemies so you don't get to loot everything off them

Description:

This SKSE plugin dynamically removes equipped items upon death of enemy NPCs.

It does not remove enchanted gear or quest items and has a blacklist (formlist in the included ESL) to prevent specific items from being removed.

If a chest armor or boots are removed, they are replaced with unlootable common clothing so NPCs don’t end up naked.

This can be turned off in the settings file if you prefer naked NPCs.

The mod comes with a .toml file (openable with any text editor) that allows you to tweak the following settings:

  • []iDontDropWeapChance: default = 30.

    Chance (0–100) that worn weapons will be removed from dead NPCs[]iDontDropArmorChance: default = 30.

    Chance (0–100) that worn armor will be removed from dead NPCs[]iDontDropJewelryChance: default = 15.

    Chance (0–100) that worn jewelry will be removed from dead NPCs[]bReplaceArmors: default = true.

    If true, removed armors will be replaced with rags instead of leaving NPCs naked[]bLoadReplacerJson: default = true.

    If true, loads additional replacer definitions from a JSON file.[]bOnlyUseJson: default = false

    if true, only armors present in a json file will be removedthis setting is missing in the default .toml file by design. add it to it or to the _custom.toml file.be aware that without a json file that defines armor replacers, this setting can make it look like the mod doesn't work!

You can override these values with a drop-chances_custom.toml file.

NEW in Version 1. 1. 0+

Load armor replacements from a .json file.

With that, you can make a esp that holds a copy of your armors and flag them unplayable and in the .json file you define the pairs as follows

"replacements": {

"ArmorBanditCuirass": "POOP_UPV_ArmorBanditCuirass",

"ArmorBanditCuirass1": "POOP_UPV_ArmorBanditCuirass1",

"ArmorBanditCuirass2": "POOP_UPV_ArmorBanditCuirass2",

"ArmorBanditCuirass3": "POOP_UPV_ArmorBanditCuirass3",

"ArmorBladesCuirass": "POOP_UPV_ArmorBladesCuirass",

"0x800|Skyrim.esm":"0x800|MyAwesomeMod.esp"

The .json file can be named whatever you want to and you can have multiple of them. Any json file inside SKSE/Plugins/DropReplacer will be read and combined.

If the esp where the replacers are coming from is not loaded/active the mod just doesn't
