📋 About This Mod
Small change but important if you play with both mods, as wolves are probably the most common enemy that you will kill while riding, so it's important to be able to harvest the new ingredient from Predator Vision.
If you have other patches like this for Convenient Horses, you will certainly need to make a bashed patch or equivalent.
Explicit permission from mitchalek for Convenient Horses.
Implicit permission from Gopher for Predator Vision.
This patch makes Predator Vision's new wolf ingredient harvestable while riding with Convenient Horses, addressing a common gameplay conflict. It's a small but essential fix for players using both mods, with 311 endorsements and 10,943 downloads. Last updated in 2018.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Fills a real gap—wolves are the most common enemy you kill on horseback, so this patch is a must-have for dual-mod users.
- Community-approved with 311 endorsements and over 10k downloads, so it's proven to work.
- Lightweight and focused—does exactly one thing without bloat.
⚠️ Cons
- Only relevant if you use both Predator Vision and Convenient Horses; otherwise it's useless.
- If you stack other Convenient Horses patches, you'll need to build a bashed patch or you'll run into conflicts.
- No updates since 2018, so it might not be compatible with newer versions of either mod.
For Skyrim players who run both Predator Vision and Convenient Horses and want to harvest wolf ingredients without dismounting. If you don't use both mods, skip it—this patch does nothing for you.
💡 Beginner Tips
- If you use other Convenient Horses patches, build a bashed patch with Wrye Bash to merge them and avoid overwrite issues.
- Load this patch after both Predator Vision and Convenient Horses in your mod manager to ensure it takes effect.
- Check the mod's posts section for any user-reported compatibility notes with newer versions of the base mods.
