Obscure's College - Misc Patches (Arcanum and Inconsequential NPCs)

BRIEF

There are three patches provided as is. The mods required for each patch are linked in the headliners for each individual section. For Inconsequential NPCs and its Visual Overhaul, one will need to port them over to SE for their own personal usage. For how to do so, please refer to various text and video guides available online regarding the matter.

PROBLEM

• []The patch included in the OCW installer is out of date, leaving one of Arcanum's reformulating tables in the middle of the walkway into the Arcanaeum Library.

  []The second table intended to act as a replacement is clipping into the stonework.

  []The table in the Arch-Mage's room is clipping into a bookcase.

  ANALYSIS

  • []The updated patch to fix these issues is also out of date.

    []In the latest version of Arcanum, certain records were removed. Those were referenced in both of these patches and are now just errors.

    []The bookcase is the offending factor in the Archmage's room.

    SOLUTION(S) TAKEN

    • []Remove all records referencing the missing ones.

      []Ensure the table in the walkway is properly disabled.

      []Shift the remaining table in the library so that it does not clip.

      []Disable the bookcase in the Arch-Mage's room.

        Inconsequential NPCs (with Visual Overhaul)

        PROBLEM

        • []Inconsequential NPCs adds NPCs to the College, to include the following:

        • []Two students (handful of custom-voiced lines and scenes)

          []Watchman (a couple of custom-voiced lines)

          []Two Midden ghosts (a couple of custom-voiced lines)

          []Groundskeeper

        • []Some of the NPCs are redundant with the ones offered by OCW and Immersive College NPCs.

          []The two students each have a scene with Urag in the Arcanaeum Library that currently does not function correctly due to the changed layout and Urag's new sandboxing.
