📋 About This Mod
Oasis is located in a hidden valley south of Markarth, accessed through a mountain pass. The property is located in it's own worldspace, so it shouldn't conflict with anything.
Features:
- No loading doors
- Exterior doors close automatically
- Interior and exterior lights turn on at night and off during the day
- Compatible with Frostfall
- All vanilla crafting stations and an oven
- Bathtub with auto-strip for npcs
- 6 bookshelves
- Guest room for 1 follower
- 6 hearthfire planting soils
Notes:
- Your horse will not follow you into the Oasis (there is no way to force a horse through a loading door), but there is a horse marker and hitching post
outside the entrance.
- The automatic lights may not turn on the first night - just give it 24 hours and they will work properly.
- When standing up after sitting on one of the floor pillows, your character will hover just above the pillow until you move. I currently have no solution
for this, sorry.
- Screenshots were taken in original Skyrim with NLVA and Skyrim HD - 2K Textures.

Oasis is a compact Redguard-themed player home south of Markarth with no loading doors, ample storage, and space for one follower. It offers a convenient, immersive dwelling for Skyrim players seeking a small, functional base without excessive features.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- No loading doors means you can walk right in without a load screen – great for immersion
- Plenty of storage for hoarders, so you can stash all your loot without clutter
- Compact size makes it easy to find everything without wandering through a mansion
⚠️ Cons
- Only room for one follower, so if you travel with a crew, they'll have to wait outside
- Last updated in 2017, so it might not be compatible with newer mods or game updates
- Small size might feel cramped if you're used to larger player homes
For Skyrim players who want a cozy, no-fuss player home near Markarth with quick access and no loading screens. If you prefer sprawling estates with multiple rooms and follower quarters, this might be too small for you.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Since it's a player home, make sure to clear out any existing mods that alter the same location near Markarth to avoid conflicts.
- If you're using a mod manager, install it like any other mod and check the load order – it should be fine as long as it's not overwritten by other location mods.
- Fast travel to Markarth and head south to find the home – it's a short walk from the city gates.
