📋 About This Mod
OAfterSleep checks the player's surroundings right after sleeping and, if conditions are met, starts an OStim Standalone scene with nearby NPCs. The idea comes from Morning Sex, but this version focuses on giving the user more control over when, where, and with whom scenes can happen. If you like the concept, you can also look at the original.
What it does
-
[]Runs a check after the player wakes up.[/]
[]Searches nearby NPCs as potential partners (supports a second, wider scan).[/]
[]Applies a chain of chance-based filters: global, locations, factions, races (JSON file), morality, player relations, aggression, dom/sub, foreplay, and optional threesome.[/]
[]Starts an OStim scene that matches the context.[/]
[]Asks for confirmation and/or shows a short lore-friendly line before the scene begins.[/]
Requirements
-
[]SKSE[/]
[]Papyrus Utils[/]
[]JContainers[/]
[]SKY UI[/]
[]OStim Standalone[/]
Notes
-
[]This is not a content pack. It uses OStim's scenes and animations you have.[/]
[]In OAfterSleep/races.json you can customize encounter chances for specific races. The file includes some predefined values, but you are free to add new entries or adjust the existing ones to match your preferences. This feature is file-based only - there is no MCM section for it, as providing equivalent editors for races, factions, locations, and other categories would require a large amount of additional interface work.[/]

It includes a chain of chance-based filters for locations, factions, races, morality, and more, plus optional threesomes. Requires SKSE, Papyrus Utils, JContainers, SKY UI, and OStim Standalone.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community backing with 304 endorsements and over 12k downloads.
- Gives you granular control over scene triggers—filters for race, faction, morality, and more.
- Adds a lore-friendly touch with confirmation and flavor lines before scenes start.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires a hefty dependency stack (SKSE, Papyrus Utils, JContainers, SKY UI, OStim Standalone) which can be a pain to set up.
- Race customization is file-based only—no MCM menu, so you'll be editing JSON by hand.
- Compatibility risk with other mods that alter sleep or NPC AI, since it hooks into the wake-up event.
For Skyrim players who already use OStim Standalone and want a more controlled morning-after experience. If you're after a simple auto-scene mod without configuration, this might be overkill—but if you like tweaking filters, it's perfect.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure OStim Standalone is fully installed and working before adding this mod—test a scene manually first.
- Edit the races.json file with a text editor that supports UTF-8 encoding to avoid JSON parsing errors.
- Use a mod manager like MO2 to keep track of the multiple required dependencies and avoid overwriting files.
