NVICO - Modular High Poly NPC Overhaul

Description

NVICO attempts to be a simple overhaul of the vanilla game NPCs by utilizing excellent mods such as High Poly Head, Expressive Facegen Morphs, Vanilla Makeup HD, and multiple others included in the credits below. It differs from past overhauls because it offers users flexibility by dividing the overhaul into two standalone modules, each with its own choices to further personalize them. The last manner in which it differs from other NPC Overhauls is that it not only covers the generic NPCs and bandits. It also addresses vanilla flaws in the generic pools, such as unrealistic facial proportions and repeated NPC faces leading to less diversity. To help familiarize you with what all options are available, I’ll list them below.

Townie Module:

- Contains all named NPCs in Skyrim.

- Fixes default generic faces for all named NPCs

- Has three options once installed: Custom Hair, No Bosmeri Antlers, and Vanilla Hair.

- Custom Hair was applied with three principles: poly count, believability, and lack of clipping.

- If using other NPC Overhauls, load them lower than the NVICO Townies ESP.

Bandit Module:

- Contains all Generic NPCs in Skyrim to include Bandits and Guards.

- Has two options once installed, which include: Bosmeri Antlers and No Bosmeri Antlers.

- Repeated and generic enemy faces edited to add variety to several overlooked enemy factions, including Reavers, Afflicted, and Thalmor.

- Fully compatible with other NPC Overhauls with a few notable exceptions (Kalilies NPCs, etc.).

Improvements Over NVICO 1. 0:

- Cleaned ESPs of all minor and unnecessary changes, which makes the mod a breeze to patch.

- Hair colors edited to be less bright and colorful. Added a standalone ESP with the new hair colors to Misc Files.

- Bandits have been more thoroughly reviewed for quality.

- How NPCs are divided by ESP made more sensible.

- FOMODs included for easy choice selection during installation.

- ESP naming scheme makes upgrading and swapping between options safe.

Optional Plugins:

- Unique Redguards & Unique Bretons: Gives Redguards and Bretons their own unique textures thanks to the talented Vobla's Sapphire, Sakhr, Sunday, and Svein skins. Supports UNP, CBBE, Vanilla Male, SOS, and SOS Light currently.

- New Guard Recruits: Adds 72 additional Nord faces to the guard pool. Female guards will now patrol Imperial-controlled cities.

- Visual Compatibility Patches: Updates NPCs from Interesting NPCs, Alternate Start, Legacy of the Dragonborn, OBIS, Immersive College NPCs, Citizens of Tamriel, Immersive Patrols, Inconsequential NPCs, Beyond Skyrim: Bruma and Wyrmstooth
