Breakdown:
A simple mod that allows NPCs to use filled soul gems in their inventory to recharge their enchanted weapons. In-built efficiency system to keep charge wastage to a minimum.
So they'll use up smaller soul sizes (e.g., gems with petty or lesser souls) first. Grand souls, for instance, are unlikely to be used unless the weapon has a huge charge-store (e.g., Dawnbreaker) and has a very low current charge.
NPCs with the soul squeezer perk are even more efficient at recharges.
