📋 About This Mod
Locked Empty Container Activate Text Fix
SKSE plugin that fixes a vanilla bug wherein if a container is both locked and empty, the activation prompt only displays "empty" and not "locked". The sActivateText ini setting can be used to customize the activation text for containers that are both locked and empty ("Empty (Locked)" by default)
Source code: GitHub
Built with CommonLibSSE NG. Should work for all versions of Skyrim (SE, AE, and VR).

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 852 endorsements and over 334k downloads
- Tiny fix that improves immersion and UI clarity
- Simple install—just drop the DLL into your SKSE plugins folder
⚠️ Cons
- Requires SKSE64, so it's not for console players or those avoiding SKSE
- Only affects the activation text—no other changes
- Last updated in 2023, so it may not be compatible with the latest Skyrim updates (check for patches)
For Skyrim players who notice the small UI inconsistency and want it fixed. Perfect for modded playthroughs where you're already using SKSE. Skip if you're on console or don't care about minor text prompts.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have SKSE64 installed and launch the game through skse64_loader.exe, not the default launcher.
- Place the DLL in your Data/SKSE/Plugins folder—if you use a mod manager, let it handle the installation.
- If the mod doesn't work, check that your Skyrim version matches the SKSE version you have.
