Lock Bashing - Adamant Addon

General

This mod is an addon for Lock Bashing, Adamant, and Hand To Hand. This mod makes it so you can only bash open locks with specific perks from specific trees.

The idea is that Rouge players have Lockpicking and it's tree, Magic players have an unlock spell like in Mysticism, and Warrior players can just smash the lock open.

Note that this mod doesn't add an unlock spell.

Lock Bashing's strength system is disabled and replaced by perk requirements. Projectile unlock is also disabled. By default, all locks can be opened, up and including Expert. Master locks cannot be bashed open.

The perks are tracked separately for One-Handed, Two-Handed, and Hand To Hand.

If you have a perk required to open an Adept lock in the Two-Handed tree, you can only use Two-Handed weapons to open that level of lock. Hitting the lock with your fists will do nothing. If you have the Adept perk in both trees, you can use either.

Opening a lock by bashing will also provide a small amount of experience in the relevant skill.

The following perks will allow for lock bashing:

Novice - Fighter's Stance (30)

Apprentice - Overrun (40)

Adept - Fighter's Stance (60)

Expert - Execute (80)

Novice - Warrior's Stance (30)

Apprentice - Overpower (40)

Adept - Warrior's Stance (60)

Expert - Massacre (80)

Hand To Hand

Novice - Brawler's Stance (30)

Apprentice - Overwhelm (40)

Adept - Brawler's Stance (60)

Expert - Finisher (80)

Compatibility

The effects check for existing Adamant perks, the only change made to them is their description. If you have any mod that changes the relevant perks, load it after this one. You'll lose the description edits, but it'll work just fine.

The mod comes with it's own version of the configuration file (LockBashing.ini), so if you wish to disable containers automatically opening, do so in this mods file, not Lock Bashing's default file.
