📋 About This Mod

got ideas for locations/reasons to visit??? leave a suggestion!!!

see documentation tab to see where the notes are located/where they're intended to send you

it's not meta-gaming if your character is aware

-akaviri scholar

Hello, wazzaaaap, first mod, yadda yadda, you know that jazz.

Ever wanted to play as a Kynareth worshiper? Ever wanted to play as a Nord of the old ways? Ever thought "Ah, darn, I'd really like to visit Froki's shack, but my character has no reason to go there."? Here's a solution

Oh, and did you ever want a reason for your character to go back to Helgen to get the first treasure map, knowing full well a dragon just attacked it? What about going to the most south-eastern tip of the Skyrim so that you can get that sweet flame atronach scroll?

This mod adds some little notes, like in Eldergleam Sanctuary for Asta, from Froki.

No added map marker or quest, to give your character an excuse to interpret the notes however you want.

Inspired by "Roleplay Notes" (Included in this mod!)

Compatibility:

Should be compatible with everything. Keep it above lighting overhauls (Lux, etc.) to let them overwrite the cell data.

If a mod touches the same cells I do, be ready to expect clipping.

🤖 AI-enhanced — based on mod data

Adds in-character notes scattered across Skyrim, giving roleplayers a lore-friendly reason to visit various locations. A continuation of the 'Roleplay Notes' mod, this is a lightweight immersion addition for players who enjoy narrative-driven exploration.

✨ Key Features

Adds notes around Skyrim that provide an in-character reason to visit various locations
Continuation of the 'Roleplay Notes' mod
Designed for immersion-focused players

📊 Pros & Cons

✅ Pros

  • Solid community traction with 188 endorsements and over 25k downloads
  • Fits perfectly for roleplayers who want a narrative excuse to explore
  • Lightweight addition that doesn't overhaul gameplay

⚠️ Cons

  • Description is sparse—no details on how many notes or which locations are covered
  • As a continuation, you might need the original mod for full context
  • Potential conflicts with mods that alter the same location cells
🎯 Is This For You?
For Skyrim roleplayers who want a lore-friendly reason to visit out-of-the-way places. If you're a completionist looking for a narrative hook, this is a nice touch. Skip if you prefer gameplay over flavor.
📦 Install:Easy· Under 1 minute
