📋 About This Mod
Long time no see!
Something simple this time :)
Modular warpaints
The idea?
Elements with the same aesthetic that can work either as standalone warpaints or as parts of your own designs.
Creating my own warpaints was on my bucket list, so here it is.
40 OVERLAYS, 19 UNIQUE WARPAINTS, 5 PRESETS
Mix and match different elements freely across your character’s face and create unique warpaints. One of the biggest advantages of making warpaints this way is the ability to toggle tint and transparency for specific layers, instead of affecting the entire pattern with your settings.
I wanted a pack that works in many scenarios and that I can adjust to my liking and needs. I don’t like when a specific design is available only for one side of the face, so all of mine are always available for both the left and right side.
You can use them together with warpaints from other authors, fill empty spaces, or just finish your creation. After all, they’re modular and flexible - and that’s what I live for when I make mods.
They were originally designed on UBE UVs, then converted to High Poly Head / Vanilla Head.
Available for both male and female characters, in 4k and 2k resolution.
Like most UBE overlays, they should work just fine for COtR users, with some minor exceptions when it comes to precision in certain areas (mostly eye overlays).
LDD - Modular Warpaints for HPH 'n UBE adds 40 high-quality warpaint overlays for HPH and UBE heads, part of Levi's Choice series. A cosmetic mod for players wanting more face paint variety, with 127 endorsements and 6,943 downloads.
✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- 40 warpaints is a solid variety for face customization.
- Community-approved with 127 endorsements and nearly 7k downloads.
- Works with both HPH and UBE heads, so it covers popular head mods.
⚠️ Cons
- Cosmetic only—if you want gameplay changes, this isn't it.
- No preview images or detailed breakdown of each warpaint, so you're flying blind until you test them.
- Compatibility risk with other body/face mods that alter the same head meshes—test with your load order.
For Skyrim players who love detailed face customization and use HPH or UBE heads. If you're into role-playing and want more warpaint options for your characters, this is a solid pick. Skip if you're after gameplay overhauls—this is purely visual.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have HPH or UBE head mods installed, or the warpaints won't show up.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to avoid overwriting other face textures.
- Preview the warpaints in RaceMenu or character creation to see how they look with your character's skin tone.
