The Khopesh an ancient weapon of Redguard origin typically weilded by Hammerfell's Alik'r warriors and often enchanted with powerful magic. These weapons have long since fell out of use in favour for more modern swords such as the Scimitar and Cutlasses.

Enchantments: 10 Points of fire damage and has a chance to cause enemies to explode on death.
Base damage: (no perks/upgrades) 11

Can be upgraded at the grinding wheel. (Provided you have the "Arcane Smithing" perk)
Location
The weapons can be found in a chest in Broken Oar Grotto along with a book to grant the ability to the craft unenchanted versions of the Khopesh.
