Once upon a time in a land far away....
Nope. Been done.
Kareen Glover was a seventeen-year-old maid-of-all-work. Kneeling on a slate-flagged hearth with her head inside the cold fireplace, she pushed the brass fireplace set's little shovel deeply into the back of the thick bed of wood ashes. Careful to avoid spilling, she dumped the shovel's load into the nearby tin pail. "One down, fifty more to go," she told herself with a rueful chuckle as she went back for another shovel-full. ✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid community backing with 574 endorsements and over 13k downloads
- Multiple body type support means it fits most setups without conversion
- The backstory adds real character depth, especially if you've played the prequel followers
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in early 2023, so it might not be fully compatible with the latest Skyrim updates or mods
- The backstory is tied to other mods, so you might miss context if you haven't played Patience and Verity
- As a follower mod, it adds a character but doesn't overhaul gameplay—if you're not into follower stories, this isn't for you
For Skyrim players who love follower mods with rich backstories and want a visually detailed companion. If you've played Patience and Verity, this is a must-have to complete the story. Skip if you prefer gameplay-focused mods or don't care about follower lore.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure you have the required body mod (CBBE, 3BA, or BHUNP) installed first, as the follower uses those meshes.
- Use a mod manager like Vortex or MO2 to install and manage the ESP-FE plugin properly.
- If you're using a mod list that changes follower frameworks, check for compatibility patches before adding Kareen.
