While Lydia is a seasoned, slightly worn, and bound tightly to duty warrior, and Argis the Bulwark stands as a man shaped and hardened by violence, Jordis offers something entirely different: the unmistakable energy of a hero at the beginning of her story, motivated to prove her worth. She is young, but not untested. Skilled enough to be entrusted as housecarl to a Thane of Solitude, Jordis has already proven her capability, but she has not yet paid the full cost that experience demands.

Where others bear the weight of past battles, she moves forward unburdened by cynicism and politics. War has not yet dulled her edges, nor has status made her arrogant. Jordis leans toward curiosity rather than caution. She looks outward, not inward, interested in the world, in her purpose, and in the person she serves.

My approach to Jordis’ appearance was to keep her clearly young, but never infantilized or unrealistically softened.

I wanted her to reflect something of Solitude itself, the capital of Skyrim, with its subtle Imperial influence. I chose to keep her skin clean and unmarked, free of scars or tattoos. Her hairstyle is practical, suited for a warrior, but carries a certain elegance that bridges nord tradition with imperial sensibility. For her sculpt, I've found inspiration on Scandinavian features to give her a more distinct identity, and to move her away from the “blonde Lydia” from Vanilla.

Body compatibility: She has a standalone body and has an option to install bodyslide preset to build armors and clothes for her.

Previous replacer mods: I recommend using Save Unbaker to avoid neck seams and other issues if she was previously modified in your save.

Armor:  She will use the default armor. The armors shown in the screenshots are listed at the bottom of the mod page. An empty Outfit record is included for easy SkyPatcher integration.

Requirements: The main file requires B. E. E. S if you are playing on an older version of Skyrim.
