Evigheden - SerketHetyt's Serana Overhaul

Serana was the first mod I ever released, back in 2021. She is, without a doubt, a fan favorite, but what fascinates me most about her goes far beyond her appearance. This is my second take on this character, as I decided to stop supporting Anima Nera, that has another concept, and instead wanted to focus on her Vanilla appearance and the essence of the original character so beautifully created by Bethesda.

Serana carries a deeply tragic past. She endured not only the horrific violence of a Daedric ritual at the hands of one of the most cruel and malevolent Princes, but also the estrangement from her mother and the slow descent of her father into madness, consumed by a prophecy that made him willing to sacrifice his own daughter for power. Within her lives the sorrow, loneliness, and distrust of someone who learned to isolate herself in order to survive. Yet she also possesses the strength to break the cycle of destruction that shaped her life. That resilience is what has always made her such a compelling character to me.

As I mentioned before, the goal with Evigheden was to preserve the essence of Serana’s original Bethesda design while adding a touch of my own style. I created several eye and makeup combinations that let you explore different interpretations of her character, from melancholic and understated to elegant, dark, vampiric or genuinely unsettling.

To complete the vanilla look, I also created a unique custom hairstyle for her, inspired by her original medium-length hairstyle with the braided crown. The goal was to preserve the silhouette and recognizable feel of original idea while giving it a more modern design.

These are the available combinations (along with my recommended pairings, if you’d like to follow the intended aesthetic):

Cured + Forgotten Vale

A softer makeup look with pale pink tones, cool undertones, and low contrast. It works well for a more natural appearance, especially if you plan to cure Serana of vampirism. It pairs beautifully with the Cured Eyes, a muted gray-blue.

Soul Cairn + Coldharbour

A heavy gothic makeup style with dark eyelids, eyeliner and black lips. Ideal for a more dramatic and stylized look, and especially striking when paired with the Soul Cairn Eyes, an intense purple reminiscent of the Soul Cairn sky.
