This esl-flagged mod adds the option to offer guards healing potions via dialogue to heal their wounds.
-Why did you make this mod?
I sometimes feel a bit bad walking past wounded guards who are forced to continue working by the Jarl despite their injuries.
-Do the guards give you any sort of reward for you healing them?
You will get the Gift of Charity buff (same buff you get from giving gold to beggars). Additionally, the guard's relationship rank with the player will be changed to 3. The relationship change doesn't really do much, but you may occasionally be given a friendly line of dialogue by them.
-Does the magnitude of the potion make any difference?
Nah, they'll be fully healed regardless of what you give them. You can choose to give them more potions/stronger potions in the gift menu, though, if you want a bit more realism.
-Can you add xyz features?
I threw this mod together in a few minutes. I'd rather keep it simple. Please don't request new features to be added.
-Do the guards respond with voiced dialogue?
They use some shared vanilla dialogue.
-Why bother giving them potions when I can use healing spells?
If you're playing a magic user, that is a viable option. If you're not playing a magic user, then you probably won't have such a spell.
-Will the dialogue only appear for wounded guards?
Yes, I added a condition to check the health percent of the speaker.
