Enhanced Vanilla Mountain Textures

• []4k mountain textures based created by AI up-scaling the original LE mountain textures and applying some additional post processing to the texture

  []Both versions have completely new normal and height maps

  []Version 1 has an option for standard parallax textures (meshes are not included)

  []Version 2 has options for standard or complex parallax textures (meshes not included)

  []Both versions have optional matching landscape rock textures (both versions have support for Terrain Parallax Blending Fix)

  []Version 1 has five color options: Vanilla, Brown, Dark Gray, Rust, and Warmer

  []Version 2 has six color options: Vanilla, Brown, Dark Gray, Gray, Rust, and Warmer

  []Version 1 textures are truer to the original vanilla textures

  []Version 2 takes more liberties with the texture by making the texture a bit rougher and adding some erosion that wasn't present in the original texture.

• []Download the FOMOD for the version you want to use, it has all the texture and color options

  []Install with your mod manager of choice

  []If you have any conflicts make sure this mod wins or you won't see the changes it makes or may have funky looking mountains.

• If you use DynDOLOD, I recommend re-running it after installing this mod (if you decide you want to keep this mod).

  Un-Installing

  Since these are just textures they can be removed from your load order at anytime.

  If you ran DynDOLOD after installing these textures, I advise running it again with your new textures after uninstalling this mod. Your distant mountains might not match if you don't.

  Compatibility

  This mod will work with any mountain meshes that use the vanilla textures, such as ERM - Enhanced Rocks and Mountains. The mod will work with both the parallax and complex parallax (version 2 only) versions of ERM. Just choose the correct option for which version of ERM you have while installing. This mod is not compatible with either version of Majestic Mountains.

  Credits

  The color textures were all obtained from my LE copy of the game. AI up-scaling was done with Topaz Photo AI. Normal maps and parallax textures were created using Adobe Substance 3D Sampler. Image recolors were done using Adobe Photoshop.

  Permissions

  This mod is shared with open permissions. You can port it to other versions of the game (including consoles).
