Emily the Messy Renewal

ABOUT

This is a simple mod, made at the request of a father that wanted his daughter to be in the game as a daughter. Adds an adoptable girl named Emily The Messy. Totally standalone, nothing else needed.

I don't take requests, but made an exception because we both have shared the same problem in life. I wish him the best of luck. This mod is me paying it forward in the checkout line.

Emily can be found at the The Winking Skeever Inn, Solitude. Look around on the 2nd floor.

INSTALLATION/UNINSTALLATION

I highly recommend using NMM. The mod has two files, both go in the game Data directory and need to be activated like any mod.

REQUIREMENTS

Latest version of Skyrim Special Edition and the Hearthfires DLC activated. Will work fine with ANY AE version as well.

COMPATIBILITY

I make absolutely zero changes to any aspect of the game adoption system. The mod only includes meshes and textures to make Emily look as she does.

The base game giftable clothes may cause neck seam issues, because Emily uses a custom-built (UNP-based) body. If this is a problem for you, you can try The Kids Are Alright (aka TKAA), the bodies and outfits in that mod are compatible with this one.

Like with TKAA, I include a customized base game skeleton to give her child-like proportions. She will be incompatible with the typical slooty physics outfits you see here and elsewhere, so don't even try.

Can be installed mid-game, but be sure to have a clean save made FIRST. NOT recommended to uninstall a esl-type mod mid-game, you risk corrupting a game save. Ask me how I know this...
