ELDEN RIM x DS3
DUAL WIELD KATANA MOVESET MASHUP (MCO - SCAR)
I've been experimenting with mixing movesets to create more complex ones for a while, and now that I've gotten Black's permissionto publish, I'm here to share this one with you.
I mixed some motions from the recent Elden Rim dual wield collection + Black's old moveset Onikiri and Ubadachi + other motions from the classic Elden Rim moveset collection.
I re-annotated all the motions so that some attacks that follow up the combo only appear after a specific power attacks,
which makes this a somewhat complex moveset to master.
I also patched it for SCAR, so if an NPC or follower is using two katanas, they will also use the moveset.

📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Huge community trust: 4,864 endorsements and over 744k downloads.
- Blends multiple animation sets for a unique, fluid moveset.
- Actively maintained—last updated December 2024.
⚠️ Cons
- Requires three separate frameworks (MCO, SCAR, BFCO) which can be a hassle to set up.
- Compatibility with other animation overhauls is not documented, so expect potential conflicts.
For Skyrim players who want flashy, souls-like dual katana combat and are already using MCO/SCAR/BFCO. Skip if you prefer vanilla animations or aren't willing to install multiple frameworks.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure your mod manager deploys MCO, SCAR, and BFCO before this moveset to avoid overwrite issues.
- Use Nemesis or Pandora to generate animations after installing—otherwise the moveset won't work.
- Test in a new save or with a character that has no other animation mods to isolate conflicts.
