Hey all,
I am excited to present to you the second part of the Ebony Damascus series. This is my second major mod that I have been working on for some time. Before proceeding further, I want to sincerely thank everyone who downloaded my Ebony Damascus Crossbow mod, and its variants. You all rock.
Ebony Damascus Blades adds a new, custom weapon meshes in the swords and daggers category. Each of these weapons is 1 point stronger than the strongest weapon in the vanilla game, dragonbone. There are a total of 6 weapons packed in this mod, for a measly 45 (approx) MB. The weapons added are, Ebony Damascus Sword, Ebony Damascus Long sword (1 handed), Ebony Damascus Katana (1 handed), Ebony Damascus Cleaver, Ebony Damascus Dagger, and Ebony Damascus Wakizashi. I have tried to keep the designs as close to real historical weapons as possible, but there is a strong fantasy element attached with the weapons.
Please consider endorsing if you like this mod. Endorsement doesn't pay me in real, tangible, materialistic items, but it does help me know that people are enjoying the mod in their game that I enjoyed making. This feeling is my payment. :)
I have tested this mod within a load order of 200+, and have ESLify the esp to save plugin space. The meshes are “truly” high poly, and they come in 2k texture size. I feel there is no need to increase the texture size any further.
Mod Requirements: This is a standalone mod that does not require any other mod to work with.
Crafting Requirements: You must have the “DragonArmor” perk unlocked in order to craft these weapons, and Arcane Blacksmith plus DragonArmor perks to temper them further.
Installation:
Mod Manager: Simply download with your favourite mod manager, and install.
Manually: Why? No, really, why do you want to download and install mods manually? Use a mod manager. Please.
Load Order: As it is a standalone, it should not cause any conflict with any other mod. It does, however, overwrites the blood textures added/changed by the Enhanced Blood Textures mod, therefore place my mod above it for EBT to work properly.
