Dragonborn ReVoiced is a framework which gives your character a voice, allowing them to speak the game's dialogue choices aloud with synchronized lip-sync, modernizing Skyrim's dialogue system to be on par with games like Fallout 4, The Witcher etc. It requires a compatible voice pack for the speech to work (which is installed separately). To get the full immersive experience it's also highly recommended to combine it with a mod like Improved Alternative Conversation Camera or Cinematic Conversation Camera (see compatibility below).

[]New Voice Pack format: DBReV introduces its own native voice pack fromat which includes features such as: dialogue line variations for frequently used lines (e.g. "What have you got for sale?" -> "Let's see what you got to offer!"), chosen randomly each time; custom dialogue edits allowing for creation of unique immersive options; unconditional multilingual support; fixes for longstanding DBVO 1. 0 bugs (like long dialogue related game crashes), and much more. []Backwards Compatibility: Dragonborn ReVoiced includes full backwards compatibility support for DBVO 1. 0 voice packs (but not DBVO 2) - any existing DBVO 1. 0 voice packs will work exactly the same when using them with DBReV, whilst also benefiting from the advanced features of the mod (BSA archive support is included as well).[/]

[]Precise Timings: Your character's speech duration is calculated in real time, ensuring seamless transitions between your character and NPCs. For even finer control, you can configure an additional delay between dialogue transitions to match your preferred pacing.[/]

[]Volume Adjustment & Audio Effects: Per voice-pack settings that allow you to adjust its volume gain, decreasing or increasing it up to 300% (useful for voice packs that are either too quiet or too loud). Additionally, includes controls to adjust your voice's pitch, reverb, plus four unique audio postprocessing effects to get your character sounding just right (description for each effect included in the MCM). The settings are persistent, and will carry over if you reuse that voice pack on a different character.[/]

[]True Multilingual Support: DBReV's new voice pack format is language-agnostic, eliminating the need for per-language localization mappings. The mod also provides automatic backward-compatible locale mappings for any legacy DBVO 1. 0 voice packs, allowing them to work out of the box with non-English game clients (full coverage for Skyrim & DLCs is included, plus an optional download to expand coverage to 500+ mods, including the full Nolvus and Gate To Sovngarde modlists).[/]

[]Automatic MCM Language: The mod implements a locale system which automatically translates its MCM menu's language to match the one used by your game client (if a translation file is available). The translation files are community sourced. Any user can contribute a translation by reading the instructions inside the `Data\DBReV\translations\README.md` file (or this article).[/]

[]Character Profiles: Voice pack settings are saved per-character, not globally. You can have different voice pack settings configured for different characters, and the mod will automatically switch between them when you load each of their saves. [/]
