  Overview

  Mod utilizes a small script that runs once (at game initialization) to distribute and equip horse saddles or armors to horses. There are twenty-nine (29) possible saddles and armors that can be distributed (29 separate syntaxes in the _DISTR.ini). I have also included a RANDOM syntax which will distribute one (1) RANDOM saddle or armor (1 of 29) to the horse/s of your choice (for a total of 30 syntaxes in the _DISTR.ini).

  Two versions: unenchanted & enchanted. Optional mod enchants each / every saddle with +25 carry capacity (EnchArmorFortifyCarry01). USE ONE OR THE OTHER.

  Configuration

  Mod is currently configured to distribute and equip the:

  • []Bard Delux saddle to the unsaddled horse in the Solitude stable

    []Big Game Delux saddle to a horse around Whiterun

    []Dark Brotherhood Lite saddle to the unsaddled horse in the Riften stable

    []Dwemer saddle to the unsaddled horse in the Markarth stable

    []Hunter Delux saddle to a horse around Bleakcoast Cave

    []Leather Lite saddle to the unsaddled horse in the Windhelm stable

    The FormID for ALL horses in game = 0010982B. If you use 0010982B in my _DISTR.ini then ALL horses will receive that particular saddle / armor. If you use 0010982B in my RANDOM syntax then ALL horses will receive a RANDOM saddle / armor. Huge number of configuration options available in the _DISTR.ini. Some knowledge of Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) is useful to achieve desired results.

    Compatibility

    Highly compatible with most setups, and with most other mods.

    • []Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) does not edit levelled lists, and does not modify or generate new records.

      []Body slots, however, are not compatible. Choose wisely, or edit the body slot. I will not alter body slots.

      Installation and Uninstallation

      Use the mod manager of your choice to install. Or manually. To uninstall, remove with mod manager. My understanding is that SPID will not impact save games in any way. Safe to uninstall at anytime.

      Caveats, Recommendations, and Extensions

      []Horses can only wear one (1) saddle or armor at a time

      []Clipping will likely occur depending on setup. I will not resolve clipping issues
