Markarth Fixed AF was fixing and improving a lot of Markarth vanilla meshes, fixing issues and improving overall design when possible. Majestic Mountains was supported but not the most recent Complex Material version so I decided to improve these meshes a bit more so complex material is fully supported, including blending with rocks or moss and parallax.
- Mountain meshes now are all relying on Complex Materials, including alpha blending for moss and rocks.
- Mountain shaders, parallax and UVs have been tweaked depending on the situations and how it looked
- Most mountain UVs had been tweaked with Markarth Fixed AF already but I'm now also including MM multilayer parallax support
- I fully reworked some models to fix a few remaining annoying issues that couldn't be fixed otherwise. Colonade rocky wall is now smoother, Temple east area and Forge area terrible rock UVs have been fully reworked.
- A few additional consistency issues have been fixed, like the water stream stones not using mountain textures.
- All mountain meshes should now share similar cubemaps, glossiness and specularity.
- I added alpha blending support for all moss and rock landscape so they blend with parallax mountains and improved mountain to markarth reach moss transitions with rocks when there was none.
- Temple and Colonade mountains have been split a bit to help with lighting by default.
If the newly improved meshes are working just fine, I'll add them to Markarth Fixed AF MM version so both mods benefit from those improvements.
Only meshes. Overwrite when possible. I'm not uploading any texture so you'll need Majestic Mountain own complex material textures or any compatible variant as well as complex material compatible landscape assets for the alpha blending.
Double check all requirements.
