Companions Giant Encounter SkyPatched

Added new option so the giant can also drop loot from the normal giant loot pool. Also there now is a FOMOD, so you can mix and match whatever modifications you want to make. In the end, you get one neatly bundled file containing all chosen options.

There also is a version now that sets the giant to protected as well, so only you can deal the killing blow. I don't know if that can break anything, some quick traveling shenanigans implies that the giant will lose the protection if you come back later. I didn't test if the event ends on its own if you stay away long enough.

Don't you hate it when Aela starts nagging you for not helping with killing a giant you couldn't even see before the Companions took care of it? This mod makes the giant beefier so you actually get to take part in the fight. Or have it drop loot like a normal giant. Or both.

Can be installed or uninstalled at any time.

Can be updated any time unless I release a version 2. 0. 0 for some reason.

Inspired by PuddingFace1902's Stronger Companions Giant and Ooreeoo's The Whiterun Giant Drops Stuff. Except now you don't need to use a plugin slot (not even a light plugin slot) and can easily modify the values to your liking.

SkyPatcher 5. 0. 3

Skyrim 1. 5. 97, but it should still work in newer Skyrim versions as well as newer SkyPatcher versions.

Details:

This mod adds a SkyPatcher file with several different options:

filterByNpcs=Skyrim.esm|0C97D1

to select the Companions introduction giant (always active),

calcLevelMin=80:changeStats=health=5000

to increase level and health,

setProtected=true

to flag the giant as protected so only you can kill it, and

deathItem=Skyrim.esm|03AD8C

to add the normal giant loot pool to the Companions giant.
