📋 About This Mod
Description
I've always loved the vanilla Whiterun walls, but after 10 years, they could do with a remaster. So, I decided to recreate them, keeping to their original style, colours and vibe.
Noble Skyrim has some of the best Whiterun walls, but they are also fairly old. What's the problem with something being old? Well, we have access to better software to create/alter maps. This means better quality, more sophisticated textures. And everyone's favourite 3d effect parallax. So here it is
Compatibility and Installation
There are 2 types of files, the first is textures only. This is the main file, and there is absolutely no reason this should be incompatible with anything.
The second type contains Meshes only. This is not required, only if you want the parallax to work (along with ENB). This will have minor incompatibilities with other mods that alter Whiterun's meshes.
If you have Illustrious Whiterun meshes or any other mod that adds parallax, you don't need my meshes.
If you have any other mods that have mesh edits to Whiterun walls, you will have to let that overwrite mine, and forfeit parallax, unless there is a patch available (or patch it yourself).
Fully compatible with Fortified Whiterun, JK's etc.
Parallax
As I said earlier, for parallax to work you need the proper meshes, and ENB. Simple.
A quick note.... In the images, if you notice "upside down" shadows and lighter tops on the walls, these have been fixed in 1. 1. 1
