Blackreach Overhaul

Introduction

Blackreach is one of the largest subterranean Dwemer cities in Tamriel which many have speculated to be the heart of the Dwemer empire. This mod revamps the base game location with multiple locations that emphasise the sheer scale you would expect from this fantasy setting.

This is my second attempt at a Blackreach setting, the file is an esp due to object count being too high for esl format. If you want a esl plugin then feel free to look at my older mod or some of the other great mods on nexus.

Locations

Blackreach is now a sprawling underground metropolis with multiple locations to explore and certain base game locations have been revamped. Around 30-40% of the Blackreach has been populated with cityscape and mushroom forests.

I've made some aesthetic edits like new bridges, fortifications and mushroom forests to fill up a lot of the blank area. Navmesh has also been redone to a better standard than vanilla in a number of areas.

This mod also features 10 new interior cells with some additional revamped interiors split over the Silent city and lower city district.

New enemy encounters and ambushes.

Enemy spawns have been reworked, variety is the spice of life. Falmer no longer dominate the Silent City except for the lower levels and have instead been replaced with Dwarven Automatons as they fit more thematically.

The Falmer instead prowl the lower city district hunting and peddling for slaves. Beware as exploration can be dangerous, enemy encounters have been set up specifically to corner you so be on your guard..

Chaurus Reaper spawns have been reduced. I hadn't realised how much Bethesda had spammed these into Blackreach so these have been cut back as they become redundant very quickly.

Kazgrim Manor - Player Home

This mod also features a player home named Kazgrim Manor. This is intended to be a compact base of operations that you can use whilst you stay in Blackreach so you don't need to return to the surface immediately.

The Home features custom assets and several amenities that you've come to expect with a Guest Room, Kitchen, Smithy, Laboratory and Trophy room.

The player home is only accessible once you find the key located in the lower district. Hint. Check the forum.

New Items

I've created 5 new dwarven weapons that have been dotted around. Make sure you keep an
