Beyond Reach 4.8 - Missing Textures Pack

Contains all the textures missing from the latest version that were still in 4. 61. Some may not be needed, but all the missing facegen textures were giving me serious CTDs, so it's worth it for that alone.

Do you need this?

 Yes. Until there's another update, or someone else puts up a fix that covers the same textures, you really need this.

While creating and testing Beyond Reach - Unbound Starts I quickly discovered that half the places I went would instantly CTD with a facegen error. The other half had a lot of purple buildings and armours. And that was with every up to date mesh and texture pack installed that I could find (and I think I found them all!) that touches Beyond Reach. I'm not sure the original mod is even playable in its current state without these missing textures. Mesh patches and fixes don't help, because the textures themselves were missing, and most mesh mods authors have no reason to consider changing the texture file paths.

This is a curated download of files from Beyond Reach 4. 61. If you already have 4. 61, just merge the textures into 4. 8 when updating, and you will 99. 8% 84% not need these. You will always need the facegen, Ayleid ruins, and GKB tree textures, as they include resources not found in 4. 61.

If Beyond Reach updates, you will probably not need these (and the author is free to just reupload this mod as a hotfix if they wish).

Downloads include:

• []BSA + dummy esp for each of packs 1, 2, and 3. Packs 0, 4, and 5 are loose files.

  Pack 0: Facegens. Loose texture pack with all the missing facegens I could find

  • []This pack is the one that will fix all the crashes. You NEED these. Everything else is just visual, this is important.

    []Many won't cause crashes, but several of them definitely do (I don't know how many, I stopped collecting crash logs after I had a few different NPC examples).

    []Facegen files must be loose. Most of these are also in the BSA packs, if you want to minimise your downloads, but should be extracted.

  Pack 1: 4. 61 Loose Textures The original loose packed files (in a BSA).

  []Optional, but includes a lot of armours and things for which you probably do want the textures.

  []These files probably should be loose, but I BSA packed everything to make the download smaller and give people a choice. Aside from the facegen files, I have had no issues using the BSA version in game.
