Better Candlelight
This mod is very simple. No script use. Vanilla friendly.
You can turn the candlelight spell on and off at will.
When you cast the spell a second time, it will not cost magicka, it's complately silent and will stop the existing spell. It means that you don't have to worry about anything.
This mod changes the duration of the candlelight spell to depend on your Alteration skill level: - Skill level: less than 25 is 2 times duration (120 seconds). - Skill level: 25 to 49 is 3 times duration (180 seconds). - Skill level: 50 to 74 is 4 times duration (240 seconds). - Skill level: 75 or more is 5 times duration (300 seconds).
There is also unlimited version. In the unlimited version the spell duration lasts permanently (999 days).
Better Candlelight lets Skyrim players toggle the Candlelight spell on and off at will without scripts. Spell duration can scale with Alteration skill or be permanent. A simple quality-of-life improvement with 2,166 endorsements and 69,207 downloads, last updated in 2016.
